About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated IT Technician to deliver on‑site technical support across a network of sites in Swindon. This is a varied, fast‑paced role covering hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, alongside advising on IT best practice. It’s well suited to someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering on‑site IT support across multiple sites
- Installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems
- Advising staff on IT best practices and providing hands‑on technical guidance
- Upholding safeguarding, data protection, and cybersecurity standards in line with site policies
- Maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date records of incidents, resolutions, and equipment assets
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrable experience in an IT support role
- Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, networking principles, and hardware diagnostics
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Full, valid UK driving licence - essential for travel between sites
- Willingness and eligibility to obtain Enhanced DBS clearance prior to commencement
- Valid UK passport (required for right‑to‑work verification)
