A busy IT team in Swindon is looking for a 2nd Line Engineer to take on a varied, hands-on support role. You will work across internal systems and client environments, tackling a steady mix of technical issues and getting involved in day-to-day problem-solving. Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line support for Windows Server, Active Directory, Windows 11, and Microsoft 365 / O365
- Troubleshoot networking, security, and endpoint management issues
- Manage tickets and SLAs using Datto Autotask (ITSM)
- Assist with Intune / device management
- Support IT service implementation projects and helpdesk processes
- Perform occasional on-site visits to customer environments
Required Skills
- 5+ years IT support experience (MSP experience desirable)
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Windows 11, and Microsoft 365 / O365
- Networking and security fundamentals
- Experience with Datto Autotask and Intune / device management
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
