We are a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Central London, looking for a confident and capable 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong MSP experience who can hit the ground running, take ownership of escalations, and deliver high-quality technical support across a diverse client base.
You’ll be working alongside a highly experienced senior leadership and technical team, supporting a wide range of technologies and environments while continuing to develop your skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 2nd line support for a variety of clients, resolving escalated issues efficiently
- Troubleshoot and maintain Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
- Support and manage Windows Server infrastructure
- Diagnose and resolve networking issues (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs)
- Assist with onboarding new clients and projects where required
- Ensure high levels of customer service and communication at all times
- Work closely with 1st and 3rd line teams to resolve complex issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and update ticketing systems
- Minimum 4+ years’ IT support experience, ideally within an MSP environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (O365)
- Networking expertise is essential (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls)
- Experience with Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.)
- Good understanding of IT security principles (endpoint security, MFA, backups)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with RMM tools and PSA systems
- Exposure to virtualization technologies (e.g. Hyper-V, VMware)
- Previous involvement in projects or migrations
