About the Role
Our client is an industry-leading technology service business operating internationally, hiring for a Senior Accountant within the UK region. You will take a lead role in the financial reporting process, implement accounting best practices across operating companies, and build relationships with finance leads across the wider portfolio, while collaborating closely with the Regional Accounting team and Regional CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and lead the monthly closing, reporting and consolidation process
- Support Operating Companies with internal accounting and finance needs
- Coordinate and assist with audit requests, internal control, and GAAP compliance for both the US Audit and statutory audits within Operating Companies
- Identify and address complex financial issues
- Implement and maintain consistent accounting practices across portfolio companies
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end accounting closes for portfolio companies
- Assist with preparation of consolidated financial reports for the holding company
- Support the financial onboarding of newly acquired companies and their finance leaders
- Manage audit work for the holding company and its portfolio companies
- Assist organisation-wide initiatives such as system migrations, improving processes
