An established manufacturer of precision thermal equipment is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead its commercial function. This is a pivotal role within a globally respected engineering firm supplying high specification systems for advanced materials testing and processing. The company has built a reputation for engineering excellence, serving both R&D and production environments across international markets. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping business strategy, driving revenue growth, and strengthening customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the sales function, from strategic planning to tactical execution.
- Guide customers toward technically appropriate solutions tailored to their application needs.
- Prepare, present, and negotiate proposals to secure commercially viable agreements.
- Coordinate the internal and external processes related to project sales through to completion.
- Engage with clients both in the UK and internationally as required.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure the ongoing development of market-relevant products.
- Provide senior-level coverage during periods of absence in the leadership team.
