Position: IT Support Specialist (Second Line) Are you the go-to person when complex IT issues arise? Do you thrive in environments where no two days are the same? We’re on the lookout for a Second Line Systems Engineer to strengthen our technical support team in Cornwall. You’ll be part of a close-knit group that keeps hundreds of users across multiple businesses up and running every single day. This is a hands-on role where you’ll troubleshoot, advise, and deliver practical solutions, whether remotely from the helpdesk or occasionally on-site with clients. A Typical Week Might Involve Investigating technical escalations that 1st Line engineers can’t resolve. Supporting clients’ networks, servers, and cloud systems to keep operations running smoothly. Assisting with infrastructure upgrades and new software rollouts. Collaborating with senior engineers on project planning and technical delivery. Monitoring system performance and identifying potential security or performance risks. Sharing knowledge with colleagues and helping less experienced technicians grow.
