A remote role with a preference for those located in the south of the UK but not essential. An innovative Energy organisation in the United Kingdom is seeking a Head of Energy and Environment to oversee all aspects of the organisation’s energy strategy, operations, and sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the company’s energy strategy, aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements
- Lead decarbonization and renewable energy initiatives
- Track and report on sustainability KPIs and emissions
- Manage energy infrastructure projects
- Expand and develop the energy team
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Senior, Lead, Principal or Head of positions
- Strong background in Energy, Sustainability, Transport, Supply or a similar field
- Vast experience developing company-wide strategies and approaches to projects
- Experience working with local authorities and organisations responsible for transport, energy and infrastructure
- Experience leading a team and mentoring colleagues
- UK Citizen without the need for sponsorship or visas
- Fluent English both verbal and written
