We are working with a well-established MSP based in Gloucester that provides managed IT services and consultancy to businesses across the UK. They focus on Cloud technologies across multiple vendors, networking and digital transformation — wrapped in a world-class service approach. Role: This is a technically hands-on 3rd Line Modern Workplace Engineer role working in partnership with clients to deliver first-class support both remotely and on site. You'll be involved in complex escalations, project delivery and direct client engagement at all levels. Hybrid working — 2 days a week in the Gloucester office with approximately one client site visit per month.
Key Responsibilities- Handle 3rd line escalations from the Service Desk and direct client requests.
- Identify root causes and deliver appropriate solutions.
- Work alongside the project team on IT project delivery.
- Support knowledge transfer to 1st and 2nd line teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Manage your own workload against SLAs and deadlines.
- Participate in out of hours on-call rota.
- Microsoft Azure and AWS public cloud.
- Windows Server 2016+
- Office 365, Exchange Online and MS Exchange Server.
- Virtualisation — VMware / Hyper-V.
- Information Security best practices.
