A forward-thinking MSP is looking for an AI Automation Lead to play a key internal role in transforming how the business operates. This position focuses on automating and optimising internal service delivery, finance, operations, and sales functions, leveraging modern Microsoft and AI technologies. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands how an MSP operates and can design, build, and deploy automation at scale across internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven automation across internal platforms and workflows
  • Automate and optimise processes across: Service delivery, Finance and billing, Operations, Sales and commercial functions
  • Build solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365, integrating modern AI capabilities including LLMs, agents, and prompt engineering
  • Drive automation across MSP tooling, including RMM, PSA, SOC/NOC, and project management platforms
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and translate them into scalable automation solutions
  • Own automation standards, best practices, and reusable components across the business
  • Remain technically hands-on while providing technical leadership and direction

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in MSP automation or a similar IT services environment
  • Strong expertise across: Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), Microsoft 365
  • Background in modern AI engineering, including: Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, Prompt engineering
  • Solid working knowledge of RMM, PSA, SOC/NOC, and project management tools, with a clear understanding of MSP workflows
  • Highly technical and delivery-focused, with the ability to build solutions end-to-end
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence internal teams
