The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst who knows how to bring structure to complexity in this transformation group with a fast-paced modernisation across both finance, logistics and rolling out new modern tech stacks and applications. You’ll join a busy Logistics & IT function delivering business-critical initiatives across billing platforms, operational systems, and wider technology change. This isn’t a “note-taker BA” role — we need someone who can lead from the front, run workshops confidently, challenge constructively, and translate ambiguity into clear, actionable requirements. If you enjoy untangling complex systems, aligning stakeholders, and making sure projects actually deliver what they’re supposed to — you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading stakeholder workshops across IT and operational teams
- Capturing, documenting and validating business and system requirements
- Working across complex IT landscapes (integrations, legacy systems, billing platforms)
- Translating business needs into clear functional and non-functional specifications
- Supporting solution design discussions with technical teams
- Mapping current vs future state processes
- Identifying risks, dependencies and impact across systems
- Driving clarity and momentum across key logistics and billing projects
- Acting as the bridge between operational teams and technical delivery
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 4-5+ years’ min experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong background working with complex IT systems
- Experience within billing systems or financial process environments
- Proven track record of delivering change within fast-paced operational environments
- Experience working closely with Logistics, Operations, or Supply Chain functions (desirable)
Skills & Capability
- Confident workshop facilitator (you can lead a room, not just attend it)
- Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills
- Process mapping (As-Is / To-Be)
- Stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving decisions
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Able to balance structure with pace
Working Model
- Hybrid: 3-4 days per week onsite (within 45 minutes of Liverpool)
- 1-2 days remote
- Must be UK-based and able to commute reliably
What You’ll Bring
- Quality BA discipline and governance
- Commercial awareness — understanding impact, not just documentation
- A calm, structured approach in a busy environment
- The confidence to challenge when needed (politely, but firmly)
- The drive to move projects forward, not let them drift
Why Join?
You’ll play a key role in shaping critical systems within a growing Logistics & IT function. There’s real complexity here — and real opportunity to add value. This is a role for someone who wants ownership, visibility, and the chance to genuinely influence outcomes and be part of the change and new projects across the organisation. If you’re the type of BA who prefers solving problems over writing meeting minutes, we should talk.
