Our client is a well-established, privately owned IT solutions business serving major clients across the UK and Europe. They provide a comprehensive range of managed IT support, software, and hardware solutions. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a driven Business Development Manager to their sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • 75% new business development on a win and retain basis
  • 25% cross-sell and upsell into existing accounts
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to close
  • Collaborate with pre-sales engineers on complex infrastructure and cloud projects
  • Advise clients and provide quotations for project requirements
  • Attend face-to-face client meetings as appropriate
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate costs
  • Hit monthly and quarterly gross profit targets

Required

  • Minimum 3 years' IT sales experience at an IT reseller or MSP
  • Proven track record of target achievement
  • Target-driven, ambitious, and hungry to earn
  • Genuine interest in IT and technology
  • Positive, self-motivated, hunter mentality
  • Commutable to Oxford

Beneficial Skills

  • Consultative, solution-based sales approach
  • High-level sales experience with any of the following: Sophos, Dell, HP, VMware, VEEAM, Microsoft/Azure
