Overview
Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding the customer base across managed IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure. The role is centered on developing relationships with private‑sector organisations, managing the full sales cycle, and contributing to the company’s wider strategic objectives within the technology services space.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth in the private sector for cloud, security, and IT infrastructure solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level and IT decision-makers
- Identify opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and convert leads into long-term customers
- Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demos of MSP solutions
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Required skills
- Proven MSP / tech sales experience selling managed services, cloud, security, and IT infrastructure, 3 years minimum
- Strong understanding of private sector IT environments and decision-making processes
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially aware
- Selling hybrid cloud solutions, cybersecurity services, or IT infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of current IT trends and MSP technologies
