IT Field Engineer Cornwall

Location: Cornwall (travel across sites)
Salary: Up to £32,000 + company car

The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Field Engineer to provide on-site IT support across Cornwall. This hands-on role combines networking, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows Server support with travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site IT support for hardware, software, and networking issues.

• Manage and support Active Directory, Windows Server, and user accounts.

• Support Microsoft 365 applications (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint).

• Install, configure, and maintain networking equipment (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches).

• Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades.

• Document incidents, solutions, and changes.

• Deliver excellent customer service to internal teams and clients.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Field Engineer or IT Support role.

• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Server.

• Experience with Microsoft 365 and networking fundamentals.

• Full, valid UK driving licence (essential).

• Ability to work independently and travel across Cornwall.

Desirable:

• IT certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, or similar).
