Who we are: Set Reset is a data experience design studio. We turn information into experiences; intelligent, insight-led content and environments that help brands stand out, build trust and move people. From interactive data walls to data-driven microsites, our work moves across formats. What defines us is our ability to make data make sense, and make it stick. We care deeply about craft. We design with intent and build things properly. We're a small studio with big standards, and we're growing.
Who you are: You're an ambitious senior designer who leads with craft, thinks in systems, with a sharp eye for detail and curiosity in abundance. You bring:
- A confident, structured approach to design, typography, grids and systems
- Genuine interest in data visualisation and communication
- Excitement about technology and what design can become next
- Clear communication (written and verbal) and comfortable presenting and defending your thinking
- A positive mindset and a hunger to do the best work of your career
The role: You'll be an integral part of the design team, helping shape standout creative, from first sketch to final pixel. You'll work closely with the Creative Director and wider team to define ideas, refine execution, and ensure our work is as sharp strategically as it is visually. Our projects span a wide range of disciplines — data visualisation, interaction design, animation and, increasingly, AI-driven tools and content. Familiarity across these areas is valued, but we're more interested in your appetite to learn than your existing expertise in any one. Curiosity and initiative are essential.
The studio: We're informal but fast-paced. Standards are high and ideas are challenged. We care deeply about the work and delivering on our clients’ objectives. As a small team, you'll have real ownership and visibility — close to decision-making, close to clients and close to the craft. We also make time to step away from it. Regular social events, studio outings and shared wins matter to us. Balance matters.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years' agency experience delivering polished work across multiple formats.
- Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma is essential. Bonus points for experience in Motion Design, 3D and any AI tools.
- Location: This is a hybrid role based in Hackney Wick, London. You'll be in our studio three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday) with Mondays and Fridays working from home. Hours are 9:30 to 18:00.
- Right to work: You must have the right to work in the UK. We're not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
- Language: All client work, collaboration and communication takes place in English — full professional fluency is a requirement of the role.
Benefits:
- Starting salary: £60,000 with annual reviews
- Training & development: £1,000 annual budget
- Career growth: Regular one-to-ones and supported career progression
- Cycle to work scheme
- Company pension scheme
- Annual leave: 20 days + bank holidays
- Christmas closedown: Between Christmas and New Year
