We are currently building a talent pool to meet ongoing staffing needs across the region and are seeking experienced Welsh Speaking Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to join our network. This role involves providing dedicated support to pupils, facilitating Welsh language learning and ensuring an inclusive classroom environment. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support students' individual needs, promote engagement in Welsh language activities, and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Learning Support Assistant, preferably in a Welsh language setting
- Strong understanding of Welsh language support strategies
- Ability to build rapport with pupils and staff
- Reliable and flexible approach to work
- Excellent communication skills in Welsh and English
- Ability to attend to the specific educational needs of pupils with varied learning requirements
Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled Welsh Speaking LSAs to contribute to a supportive educational environment. The role offers a daily rate of £92.56, with potential for ongoing placements and professional development through our dedicated training platform. SET Recruitment will cover the cost of the first DBS for any candidate not already on the update service. We also have a dedicated Candidate Care Team there to assist with any personal or professional issues and to assist in taking full advantage of our free training platform to ensure continuous professional development.
