No More Digging SW are a regional installer of professional grade ground screws, an increasingly popular foundation choice. We cover the whole SW region, so travel in company provided vehicles to sites across the SW is required.
Our workshop and storage facility is located at Greendale Business Park, where we also pre-fabricate timber bases for some installations. The split of time in the workshop vs out on site is usually about 20% workshop and 80% site. We are a growing company and looking to bring in new team members who are interested in this field and would like the opportunity to grow and develop within our business.
We are looking to add a conscientious and proactive ground screw installation operative to our team. Previous experience with using site levelling equipment is beneficial as well as carpentry skills, for example using a chop saw, nail guns, and impact drivers. Must be competent at measuring and following plans.
We operate a range of hand-held machinery as well as small plants, and this role would suit someone with experience operating a 2.7T or similar excavator. This role will be reporting to our workshop on Greendale Business Park and will require some early starts and long days as our installations are currently throughout the SW.
Due to this, we operate a 4-day working week, Monday to Thursday, 10 hours a day with a 30-minute lunch break, with start times between 6am and 8am depending on job location. Fridays are non-working days, but overtime can be made available and paid at 1.5 times the normal rate after the first 4 hours. Weekly hours are 38 hours from Monday to Thursday.
We require someone who is a proven problem solver and self-motivated to complete installations to the best of our ability. Experience driving LWB panel vans is helpful, as is any experience driving trailers.
