ABOUT THE ROLE
You will play a pivotal part in the growth of Sessions as we continue on our mission to bring our food brands to every neighbourhood across the UK. Using your knowledge of the UK-based food scene, your primary responsibility will be to proactively research, identify and approach new operator partners looking to operate our brands from their kitchens. You will need to build rapport with stakeholders and ultimately sell in the value of a partnership with Sessions. You will then support these accounts through the onboarding and launch process, before working closely with the account management and culinary teams, to ensure their success and profitability as they move into your region. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will collaborate with other Business Development Managers within your team, as well as colleagues across marketing, partner success and growth.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Identifying and prospecting leads within the hospitality sector, ideal for supporting the growth of our brands
- Approaching these leads through cold-calling, field sales and email campaigns
- Managing your pipeline end to end, from pitching our model to closing the deal through face-to-face and/or virtual meetings, to sign-up new partner operators (restaurants, pubs, dark kitchens, takeaway shops) who will operate our brands from their existing kitchens
- Using our CRM system (Hubspot), giving visibility to management team of your progress
- Ensuring we have coverage of your whole region using tools provided, to analyse the data and prioritise the best zones first
- Build a tight relationship with the wider team to maintain partner quality and to upsell the addition of new brands
- Be the eyes and ears of what’s happening on the ground and use this insight to influence and contribute to the business strategy
- Get up to speed quickly with our model, to deliver 4+ hosts per month once fully onboarded
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: At least 1 year of sales or commercial experience. You should thrive in cold-outreach and building relationships from scratch.
- Degree achieved from a top university
- Street hustler prepared to ‘get stuck in’ and do what it takes to close deals
- A relentless work ethic, drive to succeed and competitive edge
- Strategic and analytical thinker, able to elevate the business from the day-to-day where appropriate
