As a Customer Side Repair Technician, youll work outdoors year-round supporting our External Engineering teams to repair and replace water supply pipes to homes and commercial premises. You\’ll play a vital part in ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely by assisting in excavation, reinstatement and pipework repair activities.

Key Responsibilities
– Assist lead engineers with pipe tracing, excavation, and reinstatement
– Repair and replace water pipework under supervision
– Operate small plant and equipment (training provided)
– Work outdoors in all weather conditions, carrying out physical manual tasks
– Engage positively with colleagues and customers
– Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota
What We\’re Looking For
Essential Requirements:
– Experience in labouring or physically demanding work
– Full UK driving licence
– Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
– Customer-focused attitude
– Flexibility to work weekends and evenings when on-call
– Basic Maths and English skills
– Resides within SES Waters supply area
Desirable Skills:
– Experience in plumbing or reinstatement
– NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
– E-literate and familiar with safe working practices
– Possession of personal hand tools
