Our summer internship programme offers a four-week placement to gain workplace experience, help attendees explore career options, build professional relationships, and develop key employability skills. This is a social mobility programme, driven by a vision of a society in which everybody has an equal opportunity to realise their full career potential, regardless of social background. Overview: 4 week paid internship covering all aspects of SES Engineering – you will spend time with a variety of staff to cover all disciplines within our business. This placement will give you practical exposure to SES processes, site operations and project delivery, while working alongside experienced engineers and construction professionals.

Placement details:

  • Based at The Arc, Suite No.2, 25 Colquhoun Avenue, Hillington Park, Glasgow, G52 4BN
  • Commencing mid July 2026 for 4 weeks. Exact dates can be adjusted to suit the applicant.
  • The remuneration will be in line with the National Living Wage and statutory holiday pay. The rate will be paid per hour.

Role Description: Much of this placement will be learning about the many different aspects of Building Services Engineering, along with our wider group business. You will be working with a number of different team members to gain a good overview of SES at the office. These teams cover the whole of Scotland so you will gain knowledge of the wider region. You will have the opportunity to spend time in our sites and offices with a variety of different people from around the business such as design, planning, commercial, human resources, operations, digital, health & safety and social value.
