About the Role
Our M&E Project Surveyors are a valuable part of our business, where they take ownership for the development and implementation of all pre and post‑contract strategies, commercial functions and contract reporting. Project Surveyors will have full accountability for their own work packages or projects and continue to work collaboratively with our customers and industry specialists with a firm focus on added value, compliance, commercial viability, and best practice.
As our Project Surveyor you will undertake the following (reporting into a Commercial Manager):
- Lead & Manage: Take ownership of the financial management of our projects, guiding them from initial planning through to final handover.
- Optimize Costs: Develop and execute cost management strategies that ensure projects are financially sound while delivering maximum value.
- Contract Expertise: Oversee subcontractor agreements, handling everything from negotiations to payments, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Mitigate Risks: Proactively identify and address financial risks, keeping projects on track and within budget.
- Financial Reporting: Provide clear, insightful financial reports that help shape project decisions and strategies.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Mentorship: Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of growth, learning, and excellence.
