SES Engineering Services are looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our Central region focusing on high profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects based at our HMP Gartree project. Our Project Engineer will manage the technical correctness of project progression, supervising the supply and co‑ordination of all technical information, including Health and Safety information.
Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the mechanical services installation on projects from design through to Smart Landings.
- Work with the BIM department to assist and produce fully coordinated installation drawings to a standard that allows clear direction for site installation or production of off‑site manufacturing.
- Deliver a quality installation, in line with our client's expectations, maximising profitability by smart design and early selection, driving cost while maintaining standards.
- Work with the planner to have a clear sequence of works with defined durations and resource loading agreed with our client.
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with customers, our design team, supply chain and relevant stakeholders, ensuring effective communication at all times and presenting issues concisely and persuasively.
- Work as part of a team to work safely and economically by coordinating activities with others.
