We are looking for a Senior M&E Project Surveyor to support projects across the Central Region, focusing on high profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects around the Midlands area.
About the Role
As a Project Surveyor, you will take ownership of the development and implementation of pre‑and post‑contract strategies, commercial functions, and contract reporting. You will have full accountability for your work packages or projects, working collaboratively with customers and industry specialists to deliver added value, compliance, and commercial viability.
Responsibilities
- Lead & Manage: Take ownership of the financial management of our projects, guiding them from initial planning through to final handover.
- Optimize Costs: Develop and execute cost management strategies that ensure projects are financially sound while delivering maximum value.
- Contract Expertise: Oversee subcontractor agreements, handling negotiations to payments, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Mitigate Risks: Proactively identify and address financial risks, keeping projects on track and within budget.
- Financial Reporting: Provide clear, insightful financial reports that help shape project decisions and strategies.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Mentorship: Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of growth, learning, and excellence.
