The Senior HR Advisor will act as the first point of contact for HR matters across the UK OpCo. The role will support the Global Head of People in delivering HR initiatives and may also provide operational HR support across the wider UK employee population, including CIU and Group led activities, as required. The role is responsible for delivering day to day HR support to managers and employees, ensuring consistent application of policies and a positive employee experience, while escalating complex or strategic matters to the Global Head of People.

Principal Accountabilities

  • General HR Support
    • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing practical advice and guidance to managers and employees.
    • Support delivery of core HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
    • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
    • Prioritise UK OpCo requirements while supporting wider UK populations as needed.
  • Employee Relations
    • Provide support on employee relations matters including absence, performance, disciplinary, and grievance cases.
    • Work with managers to resolve issues promptly and fairly.
    • Escalate complex, sensitive, or high risk cases to the Global Head of People.
  • Manager Support
    • Guide line managers on HR best practice and people management.
    • Support managers in day-to-day people matters and decision making.
    • Build management capability through coaching and practical support.
  • HR Processes & Administration
    • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
    • Liaise with payroll and benefits to ensure data accuracy where required.
    • Assist with reporting and HR metrics as needed.
  • Engagement & Development
    • Support employee engagement initiatives and local activities.
    • Assist with performance review processes and development discussions.
  • Projects & Continuous Improvement
    • Support delivery of HR projects and initiatives led by the Global Head of People.
    • Contribute to Group and CIU-related initiatives where required.
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.

  • Experience in an HR generalist or advisory role.
