- Principal Accountabilities
- Assist with the day-to-day operation of the stores and warehouse function.
- Receive incoming goods, ensuring all deliveries are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect goods on receipt, checking for damage or defects and reporting any issues to the relevant department.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes, reporting discrepancies promptly.
- Accurately book in stock and allocate materials to designated storage locations in line with procedures.
- Maintain effective stock control, ensuring all materials are counted, recorded and managed in accordance with company requirements.
- Proactively monitor stock levels and highlight low or critical inventory to ensure timely reordering by the relevant personnel, preventing stock shortages and operational disruption.
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits of consumables and customer‑owned equipment within the workshop and stores.
- Use the company ERP system proficiently for stock management, transactions and reporting.
- Monitor and respond to warehouse email communications in a timely and professional manner.
- Undertake order picking, packing and preparation of goods dispatch.
- Perform deliveries as required, ensuring safe and timely transportation.
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and in compliance with training and regulations.
