SERVPRO Team JRF is hiring an experienced Mitigation Project Manager to lead water, fire, smoke, and mold mitigation projects from emergency response through dry out, stabilization, documentation, and final billing support.

Compensation And Benefits

Expected total compensation: $90,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience and performance. Compensation includes base salary plus performance bonuses.

What You Will Do

As a Mitigation Project Manager, you will take ownership of mitigation projects and make sure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and with strong communication from start to finish.

Responsibilities Include

  • Respond to water, fire, smoke, and mold losses and take the lead on mitigation projects
  • Inspect job sites, determine scope, and create mitigation plans
  • Build drying plans, equipment layouts, containment plans, and demolition plans
  • Write and update mitigation estimates and sketches using Xactimate and SERVPRO systems
  • Communicate with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and third-party administrators
  • Schedule, coordinate, and lead mitigation crews and vendors
  • Monitor job progress, moisture readings, equipment usage, labor, and job profitability
  • Maintain complete job documentation, including photos, moisture logs, notes, signatures, and required forms
  • Manage estimate updates, supplements, and documentation needed to support billing
  • Set clear expectations with customers and deliver a five-star service experience
  • Coordinate smooth handoffs to reconstruction when needed
  • Minimum Requirements

This role requires restoration industry experience. Please apply only if you meet the following requirements:

  • 3+ years of recent water mitigation, fire mitigation, or property restoration experience
  • Experience running mitigation jobs from start to finish
  • Proficiency with Xactimate for mitigation estimating and sketching
  • Ability to manage multiple active jobs and keep crews organized
  • Working knowledge of drying, demolition, containment, decontamination, and mitigation best practices
  • Experience communicating directly with insurance adjusters and/or third-party administrators
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort using job management software, email, mobile apps, photos, and spreadsheets
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving standards
  • Ability to participate in an after-hours/on-call rotation as needed

Candidates without both recent mitigation experience and Xactimate experience are unlikely to be a fit for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include

  • IICRC certifications such as WRT, ASD, FSRT, or AMRT
  • Experience with program work and third-party administrators
  • Prior role as a Mitigation Project Manager, Mitigation Supervisor, Crew Chief, or Restoration Project Manager
  • Experience with commercial mitigation or large-loss projects
  • Experience using SERVPRO systems or other restoration job management platforms
