An exciting opening for a talented Product Manager to join Servomex, the global expert in gas analysis and part of the listed FTSE 250 Spectris Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing strategy roadmap for solutions and future products for the Purity and Specialty gases (P&S) market segment - Semiconductor, Industrial Gas and Medical. Our new colleague will be an internal and external advocate for the market segment and be a crucial member of the P&S marketing team. They will work closely with others in the Marketing, Sales, Technical, and Operations teams to forge growth and profitable sales objectives.
The successful candidate can be based out of one of the following Servomex facilities: Crowborough, East Sussex, UK. Hybrid working arrangement available, with a minimum of three days at one of the above facilities each week. Plus flexibility for up to 20% travel globally.

About The Opportunity:
- To drive the understanding of target markets and competitors, and track market trends to ensure continued competitiveness of P&S solutions.
- To support the Market Sector Manager in achieving the overall strategic goals and targets of the P&S market.
- Own and drive product line performance and profitability including cost positioning, pricing strategies and competitive analysis.
- Responsible for the positioning of new products and features, in line with customer and market requirements, including optimizing customer value proposition for targeted USPs.
- Lead the go to market strategy for new P&S solutions (e.g. products, spares) globally, driving the production adoption and promotion.
- Oversee customer response after product/service launch and pursue additional growth campaigns and suggest potential improvements to future iterations of the product/service.
- Develop, deploy and maintain a formal voice of customer (VOC) gathering process that will allow ongoing aggregation and analysis of key market data – key measurements made, measurement trends, minimum required features to compete and customer delighting features.
- Manage knowledge of future developments and potential customer, commercial, technical, and environmental challenges.
- Provide input to Engineering, Quality, Operations and Service to ensure all products are designed and operating to the highest standards required by market sector customers.
- To provide direction and support to the global Regional Sales and Service teams to achieve targets.
- Support the design and management of marketing and sales enablement materials (including product literature, launch campaigns (with Marcomms), website collateral, training) for P&S solutions.
About Your Talent:
- A successful and proven track record of performing in a similar role of Product Specialist, Product Manager, and/or Technical Sales role within gas analysis or similar industry.
- Energetic, positive, and enthusiastic and possess the ability to think laterally and act through reasoned decision making.
- Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently, and effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to interface and communicate effectively with all levels of employees as well as executive leadership.
- The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams as well as lead team projects.
- Commercially aware especially in the preparation of business cases or price negotiations.
- Strong written communication and public presentational skills to internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-directing and team-oriented with solid goal ownership/accountability combined with customer focused problem solving.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Scientific discipline such as Chemical Engineering or Physics.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (flexible start and finish times). $150,000 - $180,000 USD. Servomex considers several factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
