- What You'll Be Doing
As our Manufacturing Engineer, you'll play a key role in enhancing manufacturing capability, productivity and quality by:
- Partnering with Engineering and Production teams to ensure products are designed for efficient manufacture.
- Leading and supporting strategic improvement projects, including production line expansions and equipment upgrades.
- Developing and implementing manufacturing plans for New Product Introductions (NPI).
- Designing, commissioning and validating production tooling, fixtures and jigs.
- Conducting and maintaining Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
- Supporting the development of lean manufacturing processes and production cells.
- Creating and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Training and supporting production teams on new equipment, processes and tools.
- Driving Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Facilitating Value Stream Mapping activities to identify waste and improve process flow.
- Supporting manufacturing excellence through robust risk assessment and process validation activities.

Essential Experience & Skills
- Manufacturing Engineering experience within a regulated or technical environment.
- Experience conducting Risk Assessments and Hazard Analysis.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience specifying, developing or improving tooling, fixtures and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Understanding of industrial controls and safety systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with Solid Works or other CAD tools.
- Knowledge of PFMEA and process validation
Desirable Experience & Skills
- Exposure to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies.

Qualifications
Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Manufacturing Engineering, a related Engineering discipline, or a scientific discipline such as Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics, supported by relevant engineering experience.
