To provide routine maintenance for the site, facilities and production, as aligned with the site maintenance policy. To provide low level engineering capacity for site Services and production projects.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Maintain facilities routine maintenance program.
- Maintain all assigned (appropriate level) TPM activities for all Operations equipment.
- Provide site security out of hours, including locking up and being an integral part of the (OOH) Out Of hours Support Team.
- Provide heavy lifting support for all functions, including use of the forklift.
- Provide effective cover for Site Services Manager.
- Support H&S with risk assessments.
- Provide operational support for Site Services contractors.
Essential skills and experience:
- Relevant hands on experience with a range of engineering disciplines associated with automatic/semi-automatic electronics, including electronics, electrical systems and pneumatics.
- Skilled and experienced in using general Engineering tools and equipment.
- Relevant experience in working alone and in teams within a structured TPM environment.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Experience with clean-room and manufacturing environments.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Can read Engineering drawings and schematics.
- Experience with gas analysis technologies.
- Experience of working in a Lean focussed organisation.
- Strong eye for detail and methodical approach to all work activities.
Essential Educational/Professional qualifications:
- HNC or above in a relevant engineering or manufacturing discipline.
Desirable Educational/Professional qualifications:
- Electrical safety ed 17+
- Lean principles and Lean tool kit.
