Role Details

We are recruiting experienced female Support Workers to work across supported living services within the Durham area. You’ll provide essential care to individuals with diverse needs and those with mental health conditions. Hours will be Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Driving is intrinsic to the role and access to a vehicle is required. Some of our roles require male or female candidates only, where this is indicated it is an occupational requirement, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with meal preparation and feeding
  • Offering companionship and emotional support
  • Supporting individuals with mobility and daily living activities
  • Administering medication (where required)
  • Ensuring the safety, dignity, and well-being of service users at all times

What You’ll Receive

About You Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months experience as a Healthcare Assistant
  • A caring, empathetic, and reliable nature
  • UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced Adult and Child DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (desirable but not essential)
  • MAPA/ PMVA/ CPI Cards/ Team Teach Training – (Preferred but not essential)
