About The Role

We are looking to recruit a care team to support our client in Colchester, Essex, who has motor neurone disease. This will include supporting them with all aspects of daily living and you will provide both personal care and clinical support – the ideal candidate would have tracheostomy and vent experience, full training is provided by our clinicians.

Responsibilities

  • Personal care and daily living support
  • Preparing meals and assisting with eating/drinking
  • Administering medication (training provided)
  • Supporting with clinical tasks such as bowel care
  • Offering companionship and emotional support

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
  • Good level of English
  • At least 6 months of care experience in the UK
  • Previous complex experience, e.g. PEG feeding etc.
  • Full UK driving licence is beneficial
