About The Role

Pay: £14.24 - £20.17 per hour (including holiday pay). Weekly pay, enhanced bank holiday rates.

Shifts: Days & Nights | Flexible Agency Work

We are recruiting Support Workers / Care Assistants to support clients in care and healthcare settings in West Yorkshire. You’ll provide safe, compassionate, person‑centred care while supporting service users with their daily needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Work closely with children and young people, supporting their daily routines and personal development
  • Build positive and trusting relationships
  • Support children who may display emotional or behavioural difficulties
  • Complete daily recordings, reports and care documentation
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment through regular communication and monitoring
  • Provide therapeutic care to help children navigate past trauma
  • Work as part of a team to ensure children are in a safe, nurturing environment 24/7
  • Support mobility, transfers and safe positioning
  • Assist during meals, including feeding where required
  • Monitor and record observations, reporting concerns promptly
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance

About You

  • Minimum 12 months experience in a healthcare/support role
  • Proven UK Children’s Support/Care experience
  • Two recent employment references spanning at least 2 years
  • Must be over 21 years of age
  • Hoist training and experience
