The Role We are recruiting Support Workers to work across care homes and supported living services in York and surrounding areas.

You'll provide high-quality, person-centred support while promoting independence and wellbeing.,

  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, including personal care
  • Assist with mobility and safe moving & handling
  • Support with meals and hydration
  • Promote independence and encourage choice
  • Monitor wellbeing and report concerns appropriately
  • Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
    Minimum 6 months' UK experience in a support worker or care role
  • Moving & Handling experience
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Two satisfactory professional references
    £14.24 - £15.69 per hour (Including Holiday Pay), paid weekly
