ServiceTrade is a leading SaaS company transforming the fire protection and mechanical industries. We’re seeking a motivated and skilled GTM Engineer to join our growing team. The GTM Engineer is responsible for building revenue engines using AI and automation that transform how our Go-To-Market teams operate and scale. This role embodies the shift from traditional Revenue Operations support to strategic growth architecture. Reporting to the Director, GTM Operations and serving as a champion on the AI CREW, the GTM Engineer will architect scalable systems that automate manual GTM work, find and fix revenue bottlenecks, generate reporting, and establish GTM Ops as a proactive growth driver.
This role operates on the Platform side of a Platform vs Practice model — building the infrastructure, integrations, and AI systems that Marketing Ops, Sales Ops, and CS operators execute within. This role is HubSpot and Salesforce-primary, serving the entire revenue organization with AI fluency as a core requirement.
About You:
- A self-starter with a bias for action — you move from idea to experiment to solution quickly.
- Equal parts strategic thinker and builder — you identify what needs to change and then you build it.
- A strong cross-functional communicator who can translate between business stakeholders and technical systems.
- Comfortable working through ambiguity and thriving with autonomy on a lean, high-impact team.
- Naturally curious about AI and emerging technology — you're always experimenting with new tools and approaches.
Key Responsibilities and Activities:
- GTM Automation & AI Transformation: Partner with GTM leadership to identify and prioritize high-impact automation opportunities across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Marketing, recommending solutions based on feasibility, cost, and business impact.
- Design and deploy AI-powered systems that replace repetitive CRM work with intelligent automation including account intelligence and signal-based prioritization, automated enrichment and qualification, and opportunity prep.
- Architect intelligent handoff workflows across critical GTM transitions: marketing-to-sales, sales-to-services, and expansion motions - ensuring seamless data transfer, timely routing, and zero dropped handoffs.
- Build all AI-powered workflows and agent systems with operability as a design principle so that Marketing Ops, Sales, and CS can manage, tune, and iterate on solutions independently after launch.
- Leverage AI to enable contextual personalization at scale across GTM motions, including AI-generated outreach, dynamic content in sequences, and account-specific messaging, reducing manual effort while improving relevance and conversion.
- Platform Administration & Data Foundation: Maintain technical fluency in Hubspot platform architecture, including object and property schema, integration design, API management, and data flow into Salesforce to ensure the marketing-to-sales handoff is seamless and the platform operates within GTM governance standards.
- Administer and optimize Salesforce CRM, including building flows, maintaining custom objects, and ensuring the data model and automation architecture work seamlessly across the GTM tech stack.
- Architect clean, trustworthy CRM and data infrastructure implementing automated enrichment, schema audits, and governance protocols.
- Build automated workflows using AI and custom prompts, leveraging tools like Claude, Gemini, Zapier, and n8n.
- Manage and optimize systems across the GTM tech stack including HubSpot, Salesforce, Gong, ZoomInfo, UserGems, and Momentum.
- Measurement, Documentation & Governance: Track the performance and effectiveness of automations and AI-powered workflows measuring impact through efficiency gains, speed-to-lead, conversion improvements, and reduction in manual execution requests.
- Maintain a structured feedback loop with Marketing Ops and other GTM operators to capture system performance issues, automation gaps, and enhancement requests, translating this input into a prioritized roadmap for platform improvements and new AI capabilities.
- Partner with GTM leadership and Business Analytics to define success metrics tied to business outcomes and ensure automations are evaluated against revenue impact, not just operational efficiency.
- Document solutions, architecture decisions, and system configurations in Notion ensuring every automation and integration is maintainable, transferable, and doesn't create single points of failure.
- Ensure automation workflows meet standards for data quality, auditability, and compliance.
Knowledge and Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Marketing Operations, or GTM Operations with a background in supporting cross-functional GTM teams.
- Expert-level proficiency in HubSpot administration, including workflows, custom properties, lead routing, and API management.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce administration, including custom objects, flows, and advanced automation capabilities.
- Proven experience implementing AI tools and automation workflows in revenue environments, with strong prompt engineering skills across platforms like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Zapier, n8n, Momentum, and Clay.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to generate reports across HubSpot and Salesforce to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Understanding of revenue metrics, funnel analysis, and pipeline management best practices.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD concepts; experience with Salesforce CLI or GitHub Actions is a plus.
- Experience working in an AI-first operations environment where automation and tooling are central to the team's operating model.
What Success Looks Like:
- Marketing Ops and other GTM operators are independently building and managing workflows, campaigns, and AI-assisted processes within the systems you've architected — GTM Ops is fielding fewer execution requests and more strategic partnership conversations.
- HubSpot and Salesforce integration architecture is rock solid — sync rules, data model, and field governance are clean and trusted.
- AI-powered automations are measurably reducing manual work across GTM teams.
- GTM stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, CS, and Product Marketing experience GTM Ops as a proactive partner, not a reactive help desk.
- Solutions are well-documented, maintainable, and built to scale.
- You've brought at least one "we didn't know that was possible" automation to the team within your first 90 days.
