ServiceTec is looking for an energetic Manager of Business Development to lead our charge into new territories. This isn't an account management role; we are looking for a true "hunter" who thrives on winning fresh business and disrupting established norms. Position Overview: Working autonomously as part of a sales team, you will be responsible for the selling of Managed IT Services to New Target Airports and Airlines throughout Europe. Seen as a key contributor, within a dynamic and results-driven sales team, you will hold primary responsibility for the full sales cycle of our comprehensive Managed IT Services portfolio. Your focus will be on identifying, targeting, and securing New Target Airports and Airlines across the entire European region. This role requires a proactive approach to business development, pipeline management, and the negotiation of high-value contracts. Success in this position hinges on your ability to build strong relationships with executive-level stakeholders and demonstrate the tangible value of our IT solutions within the demanding aviation sector.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales record.
- 5 years of successful Managed Services and Solution selling or suitable Aviation sector experience.
- Must be mathematically proficient, literate, and highly organized.
- Essential to have understanding of the financial implications of sales (budgets, margins, depreciation, expenditure, cash-flow, overheads) and the difference between Capital and O&M spend.
- Capable of interpreting complex bid requirements and preparing high-quality responses.
- Flexibility for travel, including both domestic and international air travel, is essential.
- Candidates must be able to travel without restriction or impediment.
- This role will require occasional irregular work hours and the ability to travel within Europe or North America, typically for several days a month, as needed.
