Job Summary

Responsible for the coordination and supervision of specific programs determined by contractual designation. Provide direct service as well as supervision and support to other staff. Cross-train and be prepared to support other Program Managers as needs arise.

Primary Duties

  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Recruit, hire, train and manage staff implementing all required procedures: including but not limited to payroll, providing staff with developmental supports, recognition, addressing performance issues, and completing annual staff evaluations.
  • Review the program monthly to ensure all program and budget outcomes are met.
  • Provide direct service to ensure the program and budgetary goals are met, positioning the program for future growth.
  • Advise one’s supervisor of programmatic or budgetary issues and make recommendations for programmatic changes and improvements.
  • Ensure all participant files and databases are maintained, according to ES Policies and Procedures, CARF standards, NISH standards (when applicable), Funding/Referral source standards or other regulatory agencies.
  • Act as the primary liaison for funding/referral sources, businesses, and additional entities beneficial to engage.
  • Maintain appropriate communication, solicit input ensuring participants (families) are satisfied.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with the staff across departments and promote teamwork which will benefit program participants.
  • Participate in community meetings, activities, and events to broaden the network of partners and provide visibility for ServiceSource.
  • Provide submissions to Communication staff for print and digital placement sharing success stories of participants.
  • Maintain data for outcome reports as requested.
  • Identify when additional resources are needed by service participants to successfully meet personal goals and communicate with support network, revising individuals plan.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines established by referral/funding source and ServiceSource.
  • Ensure satisfaction surveys are collected from participants, families and community partners and that concerns are addressed.
  • Manage time effectively ensuring the goals of participants and programs are met.
  • Participate in self-directed continual learning regarding services, current needs in the labor market, emerging needs, and resources.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in a related field or four years' experience in a related field required.
  • Prior management experience in the social service, education, or business field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation to perform work-related travel required.
  • Eligible drivers must have a good motor vehicle record (MVR).
  • Experience working with people with differing disabilities and vocational impacts.

  • Able to work independently, be organized and motivated.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in verbal and written form.
  • Knowledge of differing disabilities and vocational impacts.
  • Ability to learn or existing proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • Ability to work well with people internally and externally at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and able to carry out work with the highest level of accuracy.
