Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Solution Consultant / Sales Engineer to join our UKI team, driving pre-sales strategy and technical solutioning for our AI Control Tower proposition — with a specific focus on AI Discovery and AI Observability. This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of AI governance, risk management, and enterprise technology, supporting customers as they seek to gain visibility, control, and assurance over their growing AI estates. You will work closely with Account Executives, Risk & Security specialists, and customer stakeholders (CISOs, Chief AI Officers, Risk and Compliance leaders) to demonstrate how our platform helps organisations discover, monitor, measure, secure and govern AI usage across the enterprise.
What we are looking for
A curious, credible, and commercially-minded Solution Consultant who can bridge the gap between AI innovation and enterprise risk — someone equally comfortable discussing agent observability with a technical architect as they are discussing AI risk exposure with a Chief Risk Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the technical and strategic lead for AI Control Tower opportunities across the UKI territory, with emphasis on AI Discovery and AI Observability use cases.
- Partner with sales teams to qualify, scope, and progress opportunities through the full sales cycle.
- Deliver compelling demonstrations, workshops, and proof of concepts (PoCs) tailored to customer AI governance and risk challenges.
- Translate complex AI governance, risk, and compliance requirements into clear technical and business value narratives for both technical and executive audiences.
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs with detailed technical and functional responses.
- Stay current on the evolving AI regulatory landscape (e.g. EU AI Act) and emerging AI risk frameworks, and articulate how AI Control Tower addresses these requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to relay customer feedback and influence roadmap priorities.
- Build strong relationships with customers and partners to establish trusted advisor status on AI governance and observability topics.
Preferred: support broader Risk portfolio conversations (IRM/GRC, TPRM, Data Privacy, Business Continuity, Operational Resilience and ESG) where required, including leading deep dive demonstrations and workshops in relation to these topics.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of demonstrable experience in a pre-sales, solutions consulting, or sales engineering role, ideally within enterprise software or SaaS.
- Strong background in AI governance and/or AI transformation, with an understanding of the risks, controls, and lifecycle management associated with enterprise AI adoption.
- Ability to engage credibly with both technical stakeholders and senior business/risk executives.
- Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving product and regulatory environment.
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and risk management practices.
- Familiarity with privacy frameworks (e.g. GDPR) and/or business continuity management.
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, or similar GRC/IRM/SecOps tooling.
- Familiarity with AI regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001).
Preferred Qualifications
- A university level degree or qualification in AI or AI transformation.
