Job Description

ServiceNow is currently seeking a Presales Solution Consultant to provide technical sales partnership and guidance to customers within Public Sector accounts. Aligned with a portfolio of accounts, the Solution Consultant will support the growth of customer accounts by utilizing top-tier technical pre-sales techniques to demonstrate the power, extensibility, and user-friendliness of the ServiceNow platform.

What you get to do in this role:

  1. Understand business and technical challenges addressed by ServiceNow products, including business transformation, operational efficiency, compliance, security, and evolving business needs.
  2. Engage routinely with C-Suite Executives to understand their strategic needs.
  3. Interview customers both face-to-face and remotely to uncover their technology architecture and business requirements.
  4. Collaborate with sales teams in account and strategic planning.
  5. Lead non-technical discussions to help define objectives that ServiceNow can meet and articulate their business value.
  6. Sell the value proposition of our solutions, emphasizing benefits over features.
  7. Support and lead regional marketing events such as user conferences, trade shows, and webinars.
  8. Conduct product demonstrations tailored to prospects and existing customers, onsite and via video conference.
  9. Create and refine product demo scripts and scenarios.
  10. Develop deep expertise in the ServiceNow platform to provide consultative guidance and best practices.
  11. Respond to RFI/RFP documents effectively.
  12. Stay current with product updates and releases to brief customers, demonstrate new features, and lead proof-of-concept cycles.
  13. Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and differentiate ServiceNow offerings.
  14. Coordinate with Sales and Professional Services for transition briefings and deployment expectations.
  15. Represent ServiceNow as a subject matter expert at executive briefings and marketing events.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  1. Experience integrating AI into workflows, decision-making, or problem-solving, including using AI tools, automating processes, analyzing insights, or exploring AI\’s industry impact.
  2. Approximately 4-6 years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience.
  3. Experience working with Public Sector accounts is a plus.
  4. Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or similar cloud software solutions.
  5. Experience collaborating with product management, marketing, partners, and professional services teams.
  6. Territory management skills, including pipeline development and working with sales teams to drive execution.
  7. Willingness to travel regionally and regularly attend the London office.
  8. Understanding of complex matrix sales organizations.
  9. Business acumen with the ability to understand broader business drivers and technology impacts.
