Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces during scheduled shifts.
- Use appropriate cleaning tools and supplies to ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash bags to ensure facilities are fully equipped.
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the facilities team for swift resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning tasks completed during each shift.
- Assist with light custodial duties as needed to support overall facility upkeep.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles; prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, mops, and scrubbers.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleanliness.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform manual tasks for the duration of the shift.
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within the scheduled timeframe.
- Prior experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus.
