Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common spaces, ensuring they meet cleanliness standards.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies such as vacuums, mops, buffers, and cleaning solutions to achieve optimal results.
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance.
• Maintain janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when stock levels are low.
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Assist with light custodial tasks such as trash removal, window cleaning, and surface disinfection.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning procedures and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles, preferably with commercial or industrial cleaning backgrounds.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing.
• Familiarity with custodial equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and cleaning machinery.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within the scheduled shift.
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance or porter work is advantageous but not mandatory.
