Our “Why” – What Drives Us

At Servpro Team Ridner, we exist to help people through some of the most stressful and overwhelming times in their lives by reducing the uncertainty and chaos caused by water and fire damage.

We bring relief through fast, accurate mitigation and reconstruction estimating — so homeowners and businesses can take their next steps toward recovery with confidence.

Position Summary

We’re looking for a Mitigation & Reconstruction Estimator who is equally comfortable on-site and in the office. You’ll perform initial loss inspections, take detailed site documentation, and write thorough estimates that follow carrier guidelines.

This role is ideal for someone who’s naturally organized, follows processes, and communicates clearly — someone who thrives in a balanced role with both field activity and structured desk work, but does not manage people or production crews.

Who You Are

  • Dependable, steady, and accurate — especially under pressure
  • Organized with strong follow-through and documentation skills
  • A clear and professional communicator with clients and adjusters
  • Comfortable splitting time between job sites and administrative work
  • Process-oriented — you prefer doing things the right way, every time
  • Calm, focused, and adaptable when handling multiple projects at once

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct on-site inspections to assess water, fire, or mold damage
  • Gather photos, moisture readings, and supporting documentation
  • Create detailed mitigation and/or reconstruction estimates in Xactimate
  • Ensure all estimates comply with carrier and Servpro standards
  • Communicate scope with adjusters, project coordinators, and internal staff
  • Participate in on-call emergency estimating rotation (rotating evenings/weekends)
  • Follow each file through the estimating process (no job or crew management)

What You’ll Need

  • Estimating experience in construction, insurance, or restoration
  • Xactimate proficiency (or willingness to learn quickly)
  • High attention to detail and task follow-through
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Comfortable being on your feet and inspecting active job sites

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay with bonus potential
  • Company vehicle and fuel card
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • Paid certifications and career development support
  • A respectful, mission-driven culture that values consistency, accuracy, and heart
  • The chance to truly help people in a moment of crisis — and do it with excellence

Ready to Be a Steady Hand in a Time of Chaos?

If you’re someone who finds satisfaction in structure, precision, and helping others — we want to meet you.
