We are looking for a dependable, hardworking team member who is comfortable working in challenging environments and enjoys helping people. The ideal candidate communicates well, works effectively as part of a team, can manage multiple priorities, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

This position works a consistent 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift and includes an additional pay differential for working the evening schedule. Job Description

Respond to service calls as needed and perform restoration services according to SERVPRO® production guidelines. Communicate with the Crew Chief to ensure customer needs are met and support other production personnel as needed. The Restoration Technician will also assist with maintaining vehicles, equipment, warehouse areas, and workspaces while ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Work the scheduled 3:00 PM–11:00 PM evening shift
  • Respond to fire, water, and other restoration service calls as assigned
  • Inventory and load work vehicles with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
  • Maintain clean, organized work vehicles and equipment
  • Prepare rooms and affected areas for restoration activities
  • Set up staging areas and equipment for each project
  • Perform production processes according to SERVPRO® guidelines, work orders, and Crew Chief direction
  • Maintain clear two-way communication with Crew Chiefs and other technicians, particularly regarding customer needs and concerns
  • Assist customers professionally and respectfully during potentially stressful situations
  • Perform end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup and equipment breakdown
  • Leave each job site clean and orderly
  • Follow all safety and risk-management guidelines at job sites, in the office, and while traveling
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and office areas as needed

Qualifications

  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Dependable and able to work a consistent 3:00 PM–11:00 PM schedule
  • Cleaning and/or restoration experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • IICRC certifications preferred
  • Ability to travel locally and out of state as necessary
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check, subject to applicable law
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to assist wherever needed

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to drive, sit, climb, bend, push, pull, lift, and carry objects repetitively
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
  • Ability to work in tight spaces, including crawl spaces underneath buildings
  • Potential exposure to chemicals and restoration products
  • Ability to work safely in changing job-site environments

Schedule & Compensation

Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
Pay: Competitive hourly rate plus an evening shift differential
