We are looking for a commercially minded, agency-experienced Digital Account Manager to lead the performance and growth of our brand (Service4Service) and our garage customer portfolio across SEO, PPC, Social, Content and Website Development. This is an internal and customer-facing role within a stable, family-run business environment. While our culture is collaborative and considered rather than high-pressure, we are specifically seeking someone who has developed their expertise within a fast-paced, data-driven agency setting. You will bring that commercial sharpness, analytical rigour and performance mindset into a client-side role where long-term thinking, relationship building and sustainable growth are equally important. This role requires strong experience in ecommerce and performance-led marketing, advanced analytics capability (GA4 and beyond), and a proven ability to turn data into commercial action.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Interpretation & Channel Optimisation: Interpret overarching digital strategy and translate it into actionable channel plans across SEO, PPC, Paid Social and Content. Continuously refine and optimise campaigns to “move the needle” on traffic, leads, revenue and brand awareness. Proactively identify performance gaps, emerging risks and new growth opportunities. Ensure integration between brand activity and performance marketing.
- Multi-Channel Performance Management: Oversee and review activity across SEO (technical, on-page, local, content-led and authority building), PPC (Google Ads including Performance Max, Search, Display and evolving automation), Paid Social (Meta and expansion into other platforms as required), Content marketing and brand visibility, Website optimisation and development. Ensure best practice across GA4, conversion tracking, GTM, enhanced ecommerce tracking and attribution modelling. Monitor and optimise Core Web Vitals, site performance and technical SEO fundamentals. Ensure campaigns align with Google’s evolving landscape including AI-driven search updates and automation-led PPC features.
- Data, Reporting & Commercial Insight: Lead advanced reporting across GA4, Google Ads, Moz, Ubersuggest and other analytics tools. Interpret complex datasets and translate them into clear, actionable commercial insight. Support group targets through performance forecasting and channel-level modelling. Develop clear, well-structured reports and presentations that require no senior proofing. Champion data integrity, tracking accuracy and performance measurement frameworks.
- Team Leadership & Delivery: Line manage two team members, supporting their development and ensuring high-quality output. Coordinate external contractors and specialist partners to deliver on time and to standard. Maintain strong project management across multiple campaigns and deadlines. Promote continuous learning and digital best practice within the team.
- Client & Brand Management: Maintain and grow strong, long-term relationships with garage customers. Positively represent Service4Service at all times. Identify opportunities to introduce additional Service4Service solutions where appropriate. Support new business activity through proposals, forecasting and presentations when required.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience: Minimum 3+ years’ Account Management experience within a digital marketing agency. Experience working in competitive UK markets (larger city agency experience desirable). Strong hands‑on knowledge of SEO, PPC and Paid Social, Social Media and Content Marketing. Experience managing ecommerce or performance-led digital accounts. Advanced working knowledge of GA4, Google Ads (including automated campaign types such as Performance Max), Conversion tracking and Google Tag Manager, Attribution and performance modelling, SEO tools such as Moz, Ubersuggest or similar. Strong Excel skills with the ability to correlate datasets and support forecasting. Experience producing high-quality client‑ready reports and strategic documents. Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Leadership & Behavioural Traits: Commercially aware and performance-driven. Confident communicator — able to explain complex digital concepts clearly. Detail-oriented with strong ownership mentality. Proactive problem solver who identifies opportunities without being prompted. Comfortable refining and improving existing strategies rather than building from scratch. Passionate about staying ahead of digital trends including AI-driven search and automation.
Desirable: Multi-channel campaign leadership experience. Local SEO experience. Experience expanding paid media beyond Google into Meta and emerging platforms. Recognised industry certifications or training (Google, Meta etc.). Experience with website CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) and collaborating with developers.
Success in This Role Looks Like: Measurable improvements in performance across SEO, PPC and Social. High garage website management retention and satisfaction. Accurate, insight-driven reporting. Strong team engagement and development. Clear contribution to brand visibility and group targets. A proactive, solutions-focused presence within the business.
About Service4Service: We are a growing, ambitious organisation with a strong focus on performance and long-term partnerships. Our core values: integrity, empathy and passion for our industry, guide how we work internally and with our customers. We are looking for someone who not only understands digital performance but takes pride in raising standards and driving continuous improvement.
