The Team:

The Rostering and Information Office (RIO) provides support and advice on the utilisation of the Rostering Software to staff within Hospitals North utilising the CARE Values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. We have a range of roles within the team who work collaboratively with Managers across Hospitals North to assist them with their rostering, establishment and data reporting requirements.

The Role:

The occupant of this position will be expected to be a senior member of the Rostering and Information Office Team working collaboratively and effectively with the Team Leader – Rostering and Information Office to facilitate, support and supply the training of staff members utilising the rostering software provided by Hospitals North. Training will include, but not be limited to, utilisation of the software and best practice in rostering while also supporting staff working in the Rostering and Information Office.

You will need:

  • A desire to be involved in and committed to training in rostering and roster software utilisation.
  • High level of communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge or the ability to acquire knowledge of Acts, Legislation, and policies as they relate Rostering.

Details of appointment:

Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76hours per fortnight, 14 September 2025 until 4 December 2026.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary:$81,915 to $94,263 per annum (pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
