The Team: The team environment is one of our highlights, where our teams work together, help each other & assess priorities to achieve a great workplace. Our work is dynamic, covering warehouse areas/tasks, hospital deliveries and key stakeholder engagement. The new facility is three years old in October 2026 and has the latest equipment and is a clean environment. All our services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.
The Role: Within established policies and guidelines, contribute to the effective and efficient operation of a large warehouse facility, including the pick & pack, receiving, despatch, delivery and storage of goods. Provide a high-level customer support service regarding quality and accuracy for warehousing and storage of goods. Provide a customer support service to inform clients of cost-effective purchasing and storage of goods. Process requisitions, Imprest ordering lists and barcoded files to generate picking documents. Pick and pack orders and dispatch goods in order of priority and liaise with clients as required. Re-stock pick locations, reserve locations and storage areas, always ensuring correct storage and stock rotation. Actively participate in and contribute to the organisation’s Quality & Safety and Work Health & Safety processes, including in the development and implementation of safety systems, improvement initiatives, safeguarding practices for vulnerable people, and related training.
You will need: Demonstrated experience in warehousing and distribution. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working in a large warehouse facility, including knowledge and understanding of purchasing procedures and procurement principles and practices. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of computerised warehousing systems and contemporary office management software including email and databases.
Details of appointment: Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $66,049 to $70,993 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Eligibility: Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable: Current Driver’s Licence, Forklift Licence, Medium Rigid Truck Licence, Knowledge of medical and general products utilised by a large health service organisation, Relevant qualifications in warehousing and distribution.
