Overview
The Rostering and Information Office (RIO) provides support and advice on the utilisation of the rostering software to staff within Hospitals North, guided by the CARE Values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. The team works collaboratively with Managers across Hospitals North to assist with rostering, establishment and data reporting requirements.
The role
- Provide advice, support, and assistance to managers and relevant staff in the utilisation of the rostering system, including rostering within appropriate awards, award advice, education and training.
- Maintain database integrity and confidentiality of information, including reviewing and evaluating rostering practices and standards.
- Undertake regular data audits of the rostering system to ensure data integrity and timely reporting, working with other team members in the Rostering and Information Office.
- Generate roster-related management reports for Managers as required, including reviewing the integrity of reports.
- Advise Managers in evaluating procedures to keep business processes and practices current.
- Undertake complex roster coding to support accuracy for staff payments and reporting, reflecting the Business Rules of staffing models and resolving operational issues as required.
- Engage in quality improvement processes with the Rostering and Information Office to support business processes and effective resource management, including support for identified projects.

Details of appointment
Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing 13 October 2025 until 24 July 2026. Hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary and benefits
Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum (Pro rata). Employer 12% superannuation contribution is in addition to this amount.
Salary packaging: Access to salary packaging with benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year, subject to eligibility.
