The Team
The Statewide Sexual Health Service team works collaboratively via our three clinic locations (Clinic 60 Hobart, Clinic 34 Launceston and Clinic 23 Devonport outreach) for the diagnosis, treatment and management of sexually transmissible infections, sexual functioning, conditions impacting upon sexuality and gender diversity, care and management of HIV and treatment and cure of Hepatitis C. We provide a multidisciplinary transgender service including information, support and medical assistance and guidance.
The Role:
Ensure the efficient coordination and administration of the North Sexual Health Service (SHS) clinics. This includes:
- Managing and coordinating patient appointments for the North and Northwest Clinics.
- Providing high level administrative and clerical support functions to all staff.
- Ensure the efficient flow of information to and from the office, along with the coordination of administrative processes.
- Maintaining confidentiality and discretion when performing receptionist and clerical duties at all times.
- Working in accordance with all SHS and the Department’s established policies, procedures and guidelines

Details of Appointment
Permanent, part time, day worker position working 15.2hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
- Position preferred workday is Thursday, with flexibility required ad-hoc and availability to provide leave cover.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or fixed term full time, part time and casual vacancies.
Salary: $73,811 – $79,779 (pro-rata)per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
