The Team:

  • Located in the Launceston General Hospital, Allied Health provides comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and community services across Northern Tasmania.
  • This position is part of the integrated Allied Health Administration Team, operating across multiple sites in Launceston.

The Role:

  • Supports the efficient operation of administrative duties for Allied Health services and staff at the Launceston General Hospital (LGH).

You will need:

  • to be a highly motivated individual that loves working in a team environment but can work independently if required
  • to be flexible and adapt to changes in a busy and ever-evolving work environment
  • to be a quick learner in hospital IT systems and programs, and motivated for continuous growth and development

Details of appointment:

Permanent, part time, day worker position, working 19.76 hours per fortnight,commencing as soon as you would like to join our team.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary:$66,049 to $70,993 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Salary Packaging:

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
