QHSE Engineer Norwich, Norfolk £40,000 per annum + bonus Service Service is recruiting for an experienced QHSE Engineer to join an established engineering and manufacturing business in Norwich.

The role will support the site's integrated Quality and EHS management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, while driving quality and continuous improvement.

Key

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the integrated Quality and EHS management system.
  • Support and host external ISO audits.
  • Investigate and close Non-Conformances (NCRs), including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Lead FMEA activities and identify quality risks.
  • Monitor customer quality performance and drive improvements.
  • Support product quality and compliance across the manufacturing site.
  • Train and coach employees on Quality and EHS procedures.
  • Lead and participate in Lean, Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
  • Work closely with Production, Manufacturing Engineering and site management. The Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous QHSE, Quality or EHS experience within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • NEBOSH qualified.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
  • Audit experience and knowledge of quality management systems.
  • Experience with NCRs, root cause analysis and FMEA.
  • Previous Lean Manufacturing/continuous improvement experience.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Good Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
