A world leading manufacturing business based in Norwich that is recognised for its dedication to providing quality products to the engineering and manufacturing sectors, has a fantastic opportunity for a Despatch Operator to join them at a very exciting time. This business is continuously developing its products and is hugely respected across the world.
To manage the day-to-day operations of assigned production cells using the internal system, with responsibility for producing product to defined quality standards at the minimum feasible cost.
Primary Responsibilities:- Responsible for adherence to all processes within assigned areas, including contributing to the development and implementation of new processes and to the continual improvement of existing processes.
- Train and facilitate the training of team members to defined standard process.
- Responsible for performance management of defined team.
- Assure that proper records and reports are established and maintained.
- Uses the system process to manage team performance, drive improvement, focus and prioritise production support activities.
- Responsible for ensuring adherence and development of the Kanban/material handling processes.
- Timely decision making
