My client is an award-winning specialist finance broker based just ten miles west of Bristol. They are an established, ambitious brokerage with twenty years of trading history and strong client relations, providing plenty of leads along with great long-term progression opportunities for the right candidate.
My client is looking to add an additional specialist advisor to their existing team of professionals. Bridging and development finance experience is essential; commercial mortgage experience is preferred but not essential. This is a rare opportunity to step into a brokerage with a loyal and exclusive client base, consistent high-quality enquiries, and excellent earning potential. My client can also offer either employed or self-employed, office-based or hybrid working.
In this role, you'll be working alongside highly experienced, multi-award-winning brokers who are recognised specialists in complex and "hard-to-place" property cases. This role offers significant learning and development across:
- Advanced lender criteria knowledge
- Deal structuring and exit strategy planning
- Valuation strategy and risk management
- Complex income and portfolio analysis
- Direct lender engagement and relationship-building
- Client relationship management within the investor space
My client can offer full administrative support with dedicated administrators handling case progression and documentation. They have strong lender relationships across bridging, development and specialist lenders, including exclusive access to discounted rates and enhanced commissions. In-house marketing generates consistent leads within a collaborative, commercially focused team culture.
My client offers a competitive basic salary (if you join on an employed basis), a generous commission structure with substantial earning potential beyond base salary, and transparent and rewarding splits, with an enhanced split available on a self-employed basis. There is a clear opportunity to build a high six-figure income over time. My client's model is designed to reward specialists who can structure, place and manage complex investor funding solutions.
Key requirements:
- You must be CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified, Competent Advisor Status (CAS)
- A minimum of two years' experience in bridging and/or development finance
- Commercial mortgage experience is beneficial
